Nearly done
Being a confirmed leg man (you may have noticed LOL!) it seemed only natural that I should attempt draw just a great looking pair of legs. Having completed the work I found myself regretting I didn’t use a larger piece of paper to get the top half of her in.
Oh well, ya live and learn.

It is always best to leave a little to the imagination, maybe she has her curlers in.

Tracyanne. The penny’s dropped in your ink comment. Yes there IS ink in the drawing. I use an ordinary bic biro to give me the black outlines, then I add all the shading in various grades of pencil. I’ve had no formal training in artwork, it’s just a method I’ve found over the years that works for me.
Valerie. You only sense a cheeky humour? Hmmm I thnk I need to reduce the subtlety factor a bit then LOL!! Seriously though I do try and put something into the images that is humourous, if my drawings make you smile then my I’ve succeeded in my intention. If it makes you laugh out loud then so much the better.
Curlers?!!! OK that’s just about killed it for me. I’ll never look at that picture again without thinking that LOL! Thanks Tracy, thanks – a – BUNCH!! Hehehehheheee You hit it on the head as regards leaving something to the imagination. That’s exactly what I try to do.

I really like your work it is charming and reminds me of a time that came before I was alive. A time much simpler than now. Keep pushing that pencil across the page.
