While visiting Shnepf Farms near Queen Creek, AZ for a fall Carnival I happened to spot a field of sunflowers. The flowers on the edge of the field barely stood out in the darkness but cast such interesting shadows I just had to capture a few images.
Canon 7D, f/2.8, 1/8 s, ISO-1600, 6mm
Photomanipulation with multiple layers in PS Elements, HDR in Topaz and Lightroom, finished in PS Lightroom.
I am self taught, with an imagination that will not stop. I started drawing as a kid, and dabbled with correspondence art school but never took art in high school or college because I felt it might constrain me. I was wrong, but no crying over spilled milk.
