I am self taught, with an imagination that will not stop. I started drawing as a kid, and dabbled with correspondence art school but never took art in high school or college because I felt it might constrain me. I was wrong, but no crying over spilled milk.

Changing, only works if we change because WE CHOOSE to.. otherwise..we revert….(a lesson learned in my life experiences)

  • Yeah, I’ve seen it recently in a friend who’s marriage is ending. In this case not necessarily a good change. Thanks for stopping by Heather!

Wonderful work, Randy! Love the description…it is a thought I have had many, many times…and not in a very positive way! One should be afraid of change…or to change something about themselves that THEY believe needs to be change…no doubt we do change for others, but when that change is something necessary to keep a relationship alive…it’s not much of a relationship! Anyway…enough of my personal pet peeves! Love this image and the sentiment it conveys…excellent, as always!!

  • In my experience, living life with another person brings change whether we want it or not. I’m not the same person I was when I was married at 20. The image depicts that we often become like those things (human or other) we love, which I’ve found to be famously true throughout my own life. Thanks for the fave and comment Karen!

Yea it is strange but the only reason I did was because I grew tired of his beasty ways and thought if I turned into a woman he might calm down a bit:)) Miss all my prickly parts though:((

  • “Prickly parts” lol, you kill me! Thanks Donna!

Ahhh now, don’t make fun of the girl with the imperfections. My prickly parts are admired in the animal kingdom and revered among the Lizard Lords…….uh huh!

  • Lol, silly Donna!
