Chinese Water Deer (Hydropotes inermis inermis) by

I added this photo, not because I’m overjoyed with its quality, but because it was featured in a local newspaper called “The Hunts Post”.

The Chinese Water Deer is quite rare in England, only about 600 in the wild, you can just see that the deer has tusks, instead of the normal antlers.

This photo was taken at Woodwalton Fen Nature Reserve in Cambridgeshire with my Nikon D70.
