Artist's Description

After a setting out on a 2 hour trip to Teesdale County Durham in the rain it seemed unlikely that our trip would provide much to photograph. So here is a shot taken on the river Tees at a spot called low force. There couldn’t be a less apt name for the set of water falls we encountered. Engorged with rain for the last couple of days and nights the falls were very fast and powerful, and the river was filled with rapids. However, the only issue was the spray which required much lens cleaning to enable sharp focused images to be captured. Foolishly I tried to produce a couple of of Panos, but common sense was not in abundance that day and the moving water, being as described "moving, was to prove that a Pano was the wrong choice of technique and a wide angle lens was the best option. Still, here are a couple of frames from the day.
