This image has had my mind in overdrive for a few days. It’s a combination of two images. One taken in Jesmond Dene in Tyneside, the other in my lounge.
I suppose it could be a comment on how TV is taking over our lives, or how the advancement to 3D TV could be extended further to 4D or 5D?
For me its just a bit of fun. I hope you enjoy it.

Inspired by my dad in visual arts and music from a very early age. He mentored me in photography, film processing and printing when I was 7 or 8 years old. He wouldn’t teach me to play guitar though so I had to teach myself, and played bass in a group while I was at University for pocket money. I took early retirement in 2009 and rekindled my passion for photography. My art is eclectic. I’ll photograph anything and everything. The world is full of images just waiting to be captured.

Wow, Harry, your work is really taking off in big strides – this is fantastic. Join some more groups though – quickly – this needs to be seen by EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You’re too kind Dave, but thank you very much!!

Love it, well done harry !
Thanks for the complement Vicki.
The OOB group has really inspired me. I wake up with another project in mind these days.
– Harry Purves
That is amazing. I really haven’t seen anything like THAT before. Excellent concept….
The photographic adjustments are limitless with current day digital technology these days. I’m still just scratching the surface.
Thanks for you comments and kind words April, I appreciate it.
– Harry Purves
I see April (abover comment) found you – I just found her own (brilliant) work two days ago :) By the way, I am not too kind – just wait until you produce a rubbish photo :) Only joking, as I can’t see that happening.
I’ve got GigaBytes of rubbish photos, I’m sure most photographers are the same. For each one that makes it on RB I have at least another half dozen that don’t.
You’re a free agent Dave, just tell me what you think my friend.
I have looked at April’s portfolio, very impressive. Her paintings are more realistic than a lot of photographs! She has a terrific talent!

Love it, Harry!!! what a great idea… and very well executed!! I like the way the water is splashing out of the bucket and getting the carpet wet. this is so cool… great work, my friend!
I thought you may like this one Barbara, I’m so pleased you do and thanks for you’re very cool comment!
By the way, between you and me, (and don’t tell anyone else) this is the new 4D TV system. It brings the programme environment literally into you home. You get surround sound, 3D imaging, and that real life experience that engages with your sense of touch!
I should be in advertising, or in a nursing home, the above paragraph is total baloney but I couldn’t resist it – hope you don’t mind.
I am very pleased you like the image, and more than pleased with your comments, thanks so much Barbara.

Nice work.
Thanks so much Peter.

Very cleverly done Harry. Congratulations on being featured.
Thank you so much for your comments Margaret, It seems you found out about this being featured before I did! 12 hours before to be exact :)
– Harry Purves
Wow Margaret, I’ve just been looking through some of your work. It really terrific stuff. I need to take some time to take it all in. Great work so far, and I guess you like Marc Bolan. I did too, sadly and artist who’s future was prematurely cut short.
– Harry Purves
Oh Harry that is magic! Incredible, never seen this sort of thing done before, you are very clever.
Like the imagination aspect as well.
Thanks very much Rita. I’m not sure about me being clever exactly, I just see patterns and possibilities. I do appreciate your kind comments however, thank you.
– Harry Purves
Sheer brilliance, what an active imagination. Top marks Harry.
Thanks very much John. That’s something I used to get told off for at school, the discipline obviously didn’t work. LOL :) Thanks Again John
