This is an Intel 386DX Processor. I heated the baseplate with a soldering iron & then hit the plate with a small chissel to remove it, exposing the processor

Thanks … I did a 286 as well, but I didnt blow the dust off the chip before & it didnt look that good … This is actually the first 386 chip I bought back when the 33Mhz chip first came out

33Mhz… luxury!! Don’t you have a spare Sinclair ZX80 lying around to shoot?
No… I never owned any Sinclair’s … I used them at school & borrowed my brothers ZX81 :)
