The Legs Were Hatchet & The Fluff Grew Off Them
Looking for a liittle relief from the heat wave – it was 36C degrees inside when I got home from work. I grabbed the camera & followed a Thunder Storm to the coast & watched it go out to sea.
Then I came back allong the coast. Here I followed the track across a small beach at Flinty point, & this female Red capped Plover just sat & watched me.
I thought it looked a little sus so I stopped & watched for a while.
Here the little chic was running around without a care, but just out of frame, Dad was sitting between his chic & me on guard.
The chic was hard to get because it moved fast & was small & hard to focus on.
