I’m a freelance Web Designer/ illustrator based in sunny Melbourne.

I love going to bands, drinking cups of green tea, supping on pints of stout (Coopers, of course), looking at/doing pop-surrealism art, getting/looking at masterfully done tattoos that have stories, being with lovely people who have lovely smiles and witty and/or poignant things to say. I’m quite fond of verbs.

Plus, I lived in Japan for a while, consequently a lot of my work has been inspired by that wonderful, crazy place.

My professional work is fairly serious, so this site will give me a chance to show my quirky side.

Thanks for visiting!

Please note all of my images and designs are copyright. All drawings/designs are originally created by me.

Writing

Baron of the Skies

The institution was run by Dr Saliva Grey; a thin, little man with pale, taut skin. He had a toupée, which was poorly adhered to his head, and flapped wildly in the wind.

Holmes and the case of the Steamborg'

I watched as an airship sped past like an air-engorged leviathan. Its powerful engines shot out blue flames as it sped through the burgeoning storm clouds, towards some exotic distant destination.

'Our modern times'

Voluminous red drapery slowly peeled apart to reveal a massive, flyspecked screen. All the eyes of the expectant audience looked up, as a sepia-tinged newsreel flickered to life.

The Clown Lounge

One puffy-gloved hand placed steadfastly on his heart, reminiscent of that other amusingly attired master of strategy. He was the general of Clown Queen’s army.
