Feature in Live and Let Live group.

Taken at Watkins Glen State Park, Watkins Glen, NY on 10/10/2009. I was with Lina Paul and Dj We where there because Dj has a week off before he goes for basic training for the Army Reserves. The park was really crowded and it was difficult to capture the waterfalls without anyone in them.

I will catch up with replys and reviews later on today. I am going to the pumpkin farm with the kids.

    Gosh, what a fabulous water fall BigD and yes… don’t people get on your nerves lol. You have to be so patient while you wait for them all to get out of the way…lol

    Yes they do and I sat there for about two hours before I could get some good shots. On the other hand, I was waiting for Paul and Dj to come down the trail and meet me. Several of my exposures were 30 seconds and people would walked through and they didn’t show up on the picture. LOL I learned something then. LOL Thanks for the review and fav. :-)

    You should fine a place that isn’t so crowded. I sat here for two hours waiting to get good shots. On the other hand, I had to wait anyway for two buddies to come down the trail. LOL New York has many spots where one can relax and take pictures.

    Yes it is and they were turning the people away because there wasn’t any parking. It’s the busy I have ever seen it.

    The park is in the center of Watkins Glen. People were just out for the day. When fall arrives every town has something going on. On top of the hill back of Watkins Glen is the International Speedway. There might have been a race up there. Your guess is good as mine. LOL

    I bet they do! im hoping to get out tomorrow to capture some colors.. i think its supposed to a bit warmer and i think my cold is easing so i should be ok to go out in the cold by tomorrow

    Stunning capture BigD, great comp and dof.. I understand about waiitng for people to get out the way.. had that problem yesterday, however never had 2 hours to wait. Lucky we have been there before, just wanted the falls with fall colours.. Oh well, we hope to try again next week, unless the road in gets closed by snow.

    Well, the two hour wait, I was waiting for two buddies to come down the trail. I wouldn’t have sat there that long if I wasn’t waiting for them. My next week the leaves may be off the trees and the colors will be dull. The fall colors doesn’t wait for us. LOL Thanks for the view and chatting.

    It’s a hard falls to shoot because there are so many hot spots during the day and I was lucky to get this because it was late in the afternoon. Thanks for the view, Steve.
