Taken at BushKill Falls State Park, Bushkill, PA on 07/18/2009. The park is called the Niagara of Pennsylvania. It’s on the Bridal Veil Falls trail or red trail and it’s very beautiful. The red trail is 2.5 hours long and it’s steep and rocky on part of it. The trail has much lush green. The state has wooden steps, paths, and bridges in some of the places to walk. The park is close to the New Jersey border and it’s a busy visited place throughout the day. The falls are on Pond Run Creek.

    It was a 2.5 hour drive and the last seven miles the traffic was bumper to bumper. The park was really busy with vistors. I took the red trail that is suppose to be 2.5 hours for a fit hiker. It took me 5 hours but I enjoy every bit of it. You would love it because of all the bridges crossing the creeks. I ask Eric if the Keystone group would be interested in a group shoot sometime but I told him I wouldn’t make a very good leader because it took me 5 hours. LOL Thanks so much for taking some of your time to review my image. BigD :-)

    Yes, I think the Keystone group would be very interested. You would have to speficy that it’s a 2.5 hour hike, but I’m sure we/they would find many things along the way to shoot, and then that would be the grand finale of the whole day. You could do a picnic theme where everyone brings a picnic lunch and then when we get there we could eat, enjoy some fellowship, and then shoot the falls to our hearts content. Russ and I would help you with details, announcements etc. I’ll give him a chime and see what he thinks.

    I agree but it shouldn’t have taken that long. People would get right close to the waterfalls and I even had to closer to keep them out of my images. Still there wasn’t any respect. thanks for taking the time to do a review on my image.
