Today I took Ty to the zoo…poor Ty couldn’t work out why he wasn’t allowed to have any fun…I mean why CAN’T you ride the Wallabies like a horse…or play with the Silverback Gorilla or even pat the Egyptian Cobra?
I was able to get a few moments to snap some pictures and this was one of them.
This gorgeous little creature was just like any other baby having a much needed nap (he was even snoring slightly)…until he woke up with a start, jumped three feet in the air and bolted over to his mother scared out of his wits that there were all these people looking at him.
He was soooo cute (so was the elephant!!) … and I can vouch for the startled awakening response! I’m always impressed by the support the whole elephant family gives to any baby … lovely crisp shot Sarah.
