Over the past few months Daniel and I have been working with Cooper a Year 12 Photography Student with his Higher School Certificate works.
We got together about 4 months ago and came up with a concept…
To emulate four Old Master’s ArtWorks with a modern twist in each as a commentary on modern consumerism.
Daniel and I met with Cooper a number of times to shoot all the images used in the reproductions and to create the composites in Photoshop.
The final images were printed up as close to the original artworks sizes as possible (the largest being 800 × 600mm) on canvas and then framed in antique frames.
The results were fantastic!!
We will be waiting with baited breath for the marks :)
