Mists of Avalon

Mists of Avalon

I have a fascination with the Arthurian Legends and have read just about anything I can get my hands on relating to Arthur and Guinevere (I especially love her story!).

I recently found this mist shot in my archives and last night at some horrid hour this scene popped into my dreams. So here it is a scene straight out of my dreams…the Knight returns from the Mists of Avalon.

...um hasn’t he forgotten something or is this the Green Knight??
Seriously this is a beautiful image Sarah – that misty background is perfect for him – very haunting and definitely dream-like. How clever to bring your dream to life.
I share your love for the Arthurian legend – I’ve even got an Arthurian tarot deck as I love tarot reading as well. It has endlessly fascinating themes running through it – love, loyalty, hubris, the need for visionary quests but the havoc they can wreak, sovereignty, the wounded land.
