Mists of Avalon
I have a fascination with the Arthurian Legends and have read just about anything I can get my hands on relating to Arthur and Guinevere (I especially love her story!).
I recently found this mist shot in my archives and last night at some horrid hour this scene popped into my dreams. So here it is a scene straight out of my dreams…the Knight returns from the Mists of Avalon.

Bloody hell Sare. Remind me never to piss you off! Love this image though. Will have to pick your brain (ha, ha – no pun intended in the context of this picture) about how you did this….
Sarah Moore replied

Have you read the book The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley?
Sarah Moore replied
Thanks Moshe – I have read the whole series! I was thinking last night that I would change the title of my image to Mists of Avalon, it fits better!

Geoff Coleman...
...um hasn’t he forgotten something or is this the Green Knight??
Seriously this is a beautiful image Sarah – that misty background is perfect for him – very haunting and definitely dream-like. How clever to bring your dream to life.
I share your love for the Arthurian legend – I’ve even got an Arthurian tarot deck as I love tarot reading as well. It has endlessly fascinating themes running through it – love, loyalty, hubris, the need for visionary quests but the havoc they can wreak, sovereignty, the wounded land.
