This is Glennifer Church – the inspiration for the glass church that Oscar floated down the river in Peter Carey’s Oscar and Lucinda. It was a story of love, betrayal and ultimately betrayal.

This is a fantastic work of art, Sarah. It has a real daguerrotype feeling to it. The sepia toning (brown madder) gives it such authenticity. This would make a wonderful cover for the book, or frontispiece. Superb work! Cheers! Chris
