Love the juxtopositioning of the butterfly and crow’s shadow. I’m also impressed with the fonts – altogether it makes a wonderfully cohesive image/statement. Well done!

i luv the style/imagery here,and the enevibility of it all!
they are parallel til the moment of death and u show the fragility of life sucessfully and the oh so thin line between it and death, actually it is also a powerful image may i add!

OMG Sarah this is just BRILLIANT – LOVE IT. So powerful and gentle at the same time – the typography is just perfect for it as is the medieval stripe material, but for me the piece de resistance is the curving motif that inverts the stripes and curves around the butterfly and crow accentuating the rhythm of the dance and ties it all together. This is superlative design work Sarah. Stunning!

goodness, everything about this image is really well done…from the meaning to the visual concept to the final product…it is amazingly beautiful and sobering. the red stripes remind me of a carnival, severely contrasting the word ‘macabre’ painted on them. the butterfly is new life, rebirth; the crow is macabre and threatening. all in all a wonderful work.

Sarah you’ve outdone yourself with this one – so eye catching the colours give it an ‘old-timey / carnival’ atmosphere and the butterfly and bird shadow gives it real mystery – love the textures as well – a FAVE

Great image Sarah however FYO if the title is meant to be in French then there is a small typo…....in French the word danse is considered ‘feminin’ and therefore should be preceded by ‘la’ instead of ‘le’.
