Changed to Digital back in ‘98 with a 1.5mp Fuji and got hooked.
Upgraded through 2.3mp Ricoh and 3.2/4mp Olympus.
I now use Pentax DSLR’s, gone through istDL, K100D, K10D IR, K20D, K3, and a couple of compact cameras. Olympus underwater camera.
Lenses: everything from 8mm fisheye to 2600mm telescope.
Tamron 18-200mm zoom, Pentax 50mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 10-24mm for everyday use.
Rokinon 8mm fisheye for those special views.
Just got new toy, Pentax X5 for travelling, 26x zoom, 16mp.

Still have massive amount of darkroom equipment but no darkroom.
Done B&W IR film in past, now learning InfraRed digital with a converted K10.
Still use a very old Paintshop Pro7 and learning Photoshop for that little bit extra.
Found about HDR using photomatix and having fun with that.

Balance building computers with photography and woodwork.
Have a wood lathe and do some special stuff with that.

If non photographers have a problem and dont understand then just remember that its their problem not yours.
There is no friends or family just subjects to be photographed.
So long as you have a camera (and spare batteries, sd cards, etc), dont worry be snappy.

copyright of my images is implied and if i catch anyone stealing my stuff I will hunt you down and kill you! probably beaten to death with my 650mm lens.
