The logistics of it are easy but don’t get the impression that you can just put your work up and it will sell. It REALLY doesn’t work that way. Check out James Pierce’s Business of Photography journals for more advice.

Hi Adam. Thanks for your comment. I’ve noticed that you have not in general made your work for sale. When you upload an image to RB there should be a series of options – boxes to tick such as card, print, framed print etc. If you wan to sell your work you have to tick these boxes and also adjust the mark up price below that. However RB require a certain size for them to be able to print. If your shots are from a mobile phone it is unlikely they are big enough to be able to be enlarged and printed, so therefore these boxes will not appear. RB will sell what you provide them via uploads. If you want to sell the original you could indicate this in the blurb section that describes the shot – possibly with an email address too and potential buyers culd get in touch with you. Don’t expect massive sales here. It is possible though. Those that tend to sell here work their product – so to speak. Get to know the site. Check out the Forums pages too. Theres masses of info on all sorts there. Hope this helps. Cheers
