Not sure if the message intended is what I get from it, but with the corruption and fraud in the housing and banking industries in the U.S. I see this as a depiction of the housing bubble and bust, and how it was for some people a game and a gamble, where most lost. At any rate, the painting is beautifully done and I love this series. Great sense of tension waiting for the inevitable in the first, and movement/falling in the second.
