I know that I have a couple of similar pics but this one seems to bring you closer to the action with the wave being so close.

Typical late spring weather when the cold, light South Easterlies give way to warmer, strong Westerlies, coupled with large spring tides. The trams are often unable to run along the length of the promenade due to the size of the waves, and only the very brave or foolish step forward of the rows of stores along the promenade.
