Slip, Slop, Slap
Late afternoon on Blackpool (central) Beach around 16yrs ago. Attracted by the symmetry of the outstretched arms I grabbed a quick candid. Although some of the symmetry was lost due to my delay in getting the shot off, this hopefully, is still conveyed to the viewer.
What distinguishes this from an Australian beach in summer are the rolled up jeans and denim jacket in the foreground and the two pair of shoes centre right….........oh! and the baby’s buggy with the bag of Morrisons “home brand” nappies in the tray :-)
I’m surprised that the handbag next to the jeans hasn’t been nicked…...but things weren’t that bad back then.
Grabbing a shot like this nowadays, would get you arrested or kicked to death!
