Dove Lake, Tasmania. Most images of Dove Lake tend to take in the view of Cradle Mountain. My intent here was to focus on the lake itself and the fabulous blue water, so I decided to photograph the Eastern side of the Lake.

One would expect the water to reflect the blue of the sky but at Dove Lake, the lake itself is always of a more vivid blue than the sky.

Perfectly captured…the lake here is stunning isnt it, I have only seen it in winter yet it always seems blue, especially at wineglass bay…cant wait till july when I return back to tasmania for my anual holiday in the snow
