To me it holds so many contrasts…powerful, wild beauty of the stream against the serenty of being solitary and doing a simple thing such as fishing ….the hugeness of the area and the smallness of the fisherman….not to mention the contrasts of rocks, water, green, and broody sky…It all comes together to make it one of my favorite pieces to stare at over and over again…It gives me a feeling of belonging, and of being overwhelmed at how small each of us are”
