My grandmother was greatly disgusted and upset when I told her that on a trip to Canarvon Gorge with the school (many, many moons ago!!), we went for a dip in the Moss Gardens…....that was when you told me the story of the Rainbow Serpent and that where the ancestors said he slept watching and waiting….Sent shivers down my spine!!!

    My advice…...GO FOR IT….its the best way to learn!!! A little tip that I used with sand is to dilute PVA glue (a cheap brand suits well) to a watery consistancy and mix in the sand (use your fingers to test the texture) then apply to the canvas/paper/ etc and “mold” to the textured look you want. Mel

    Thanx Evita….....the story attached to it and the “Mirrored” image gave me goose bumps…... I try in all my canvas pieces to give them some type of texture….....Mel xx
