Geisha in Green with Koi and lotus Flowers by

I’ve been aching to draw a Geisha again for about a year, but I preferred to wait until the “sudden craze” with Japan due to the tragedy ceased before I did so. I didn’t want to be misunderstood, as my adoration for Japan is of a different kind.

It’s not really a traditional kimono, but I did paint it individually as a mock-costume. Also, you can probably tell, I love Koi fish.

Pencil, ink, water-soluble markers, aquarelle, and loads and loads of photoshop.
Thanks to the Facebook Red Bubble Asylum, for making me re-make her face. I might come back to it, but not for a month or so.

Vulcan from my Father’s side, and a Betazoid from my Mother’s side, growing up has been hell, in both hemispheres. Art was the only way out.
