Frank this is lovely, when I read you were moving on to Coburg Aquarium I hoped you would be able to share some shots. And even some “how to” on achieving them. (I once kept some tropicals and marines, but never got the lighting right in shooting them). More fish please!
Thanks! Most of my “in-store” shots are done in a hurry and with a single flash. I think the key is to remember where the reflections will appear. I found that even shoe-mounted flash is OK as long as we’re shooting DOWN and not at right angles with any flat glass surface. Some of our display tanks are big and have thick glass. This is a big problem when shooting at an angle!
