    Sensational Frank!!! How on earth did you get enough light to capture this tiny guy??? You must have had ay more than 1:1 macro – and extension tubes need SO MUCH LIGHT…..

    just the same old 105mm/2.8 MicroNikkor I normally use, plus a Sigma flash. That’s it! It was shot in a very small aquarium though, so the flash was only about 15 cm away.

    very nice, Frank. But, how do you avoid flash bouncing off aquarium back into camera?
  • Flash was placed on top of the aquarium, on a tripod, pointing down.
