I don’t think I’ve ever written a real redbubble journal before and I have not been very active on RedBubble in the past few years. Now I’m back! There’s a backlog of images to upload so it will be a slow process. As I have been having new equipment and more free time lately, my hard disks are filling up quickly.
I have recently developed a renewed urge to do a lot more photography. Those who have put me in their favourites list, thank you! You will see a lot more.
I am planning a trip back to Indonesia next month, just to redo many of my macro and frog photos and take more of the culture and landscapes that I have neglected before. Who wants to go to Bali with me? :)) You can bet it won’t be like being on a regular ‘packaged tour’ as I intend to fill a few TeraBytes with stuff n
I’m showing signs of withdrawal…..irritability, insomnia, sudden urges to throw out computers…..STILL no internet as the property manager still couldn’t give us permission to install cable TV. I’m SO through with INEPT property managers…they need to go back to school!!
Today’s the day we move house. Our landlord in the old place decided to increase the rent by $304 a month so we have no choice! I’ll be offline for a while since we don’t have any internet in the new house yet. The property manager/landlord at the new place never replied to our request for cable TV installation (I want real broadband!) so we may have to make do with dial up for a few days until we get his sorted out (hopefully before the withdrawal symptoms start!)
My work Stuffed is now being displayed at the Centro Box Hill shopping centre (that’s in Melbourne, Australia for you international members!). I entered the SMILE Photo competition and it made the final for the local Centro! So come to Centro Box Hill and see STUFFED! It’s number 15, in front of the Sussan store (near target) :))
Just to show you how strange things sometimes happen to me:
My work Hollynight is featured by the Experimental group today (thanks guys!) but it was rejected before by another group for being “noisy, having artifacts etc”. The camera movement in this shot was deliberate and the .jpg was from a scan of an old 8×10″ print.
