Awesome capture…love the guy sitting in the back!
You have it all here mate! Action and inertia, participation and “spectation”, winner and loser, power and lethargy, black and white, all under the window of No.107!Well composed, well exposed and well timed, this image has the sense of speed and the crispness of a sharp focus. The tonality and contrasts are very good indeed.
Thank you Dennis. A lesson learned at the feet of Wilson Hicks (Editor of Life Magazine). He taught that everything in a photo did not need to be sharp. A controlled blur was one way of showing action.
Wow as a keen cycle fan, this is brilliant the focus on the guy resting against the wall, with the other one coming into shot is magnifico
Thanks. It is one of mine that won a award at the Tennessee State Fair.
great sport feature
just great! bravo
As an avid cyclist – Bravo! Well captured. You have captured the action very nicely and your use of B&W adds to the charm of the photo.
