Another scraper site stealing art by Joe  Beasley IPA

I found sixty four of my paintings there taken from Redbubble all under the name of one of my portraits, but all different images including some of my latest paintings…it seems to be a South Asian dating site…

I don’t think a DMCA notice would work there..

I am confused… I googled www.ratedesi.com.. and it came up as a dating site.. no photos of any art from the bubble..just malesand females looking for hookups… where did you find 64 of yours???

I don’t see a search option just to look for photos

What you have to do is go to google…in the box put ratedesi.com then your name or user name….a list will appear with your name and ratedesi..Click those to go to your images…

The servers are in Texas

I had no idea…wow…and that is my most popular painting so now I understand why they copied that one….hmmm…thank you for the heads up! I’ve had to run a check quite frequently because some online Newspapers were using my image without permission and no link to my work. I was polite but also firm about correcting that

Joe did you send a take down notice to ratedesi? … if I do it through google, (which can result in the whole site being taken down depending on the number of violations), I would have to send a notice for each image….however if I do nothing eventually traffic is weaned away from where my work legitimately resides which is right here…64 notices will take forever….

I will try that…there are eight pages with eight works on each page…if I click on one of them it takes me to another page with a selection of eight others…you can also send a notice to google as they are using google, but as I said google wants a separate notice for each image….
Right now I am seriously considering leaving the web completely and going back to doing only commissioned work ….

I haven’t given up yet…just letting the option run through my mind as life was a lot more peaceful then…you are right though…I will fight them until I have no fight left in me…

Hello everyone…I to found one of my images on this site and can not find away to tell them to take it off! My boyfriend is a webmaster and said that it is not the web host ..goDaddy that we need to inform but the Domain server and tell them that they are stealing copyright images from us and bandwidth from red bubble.com

While I will be be issuing DMCA Take Down Notices to Ratedesi.com shortly, their infringement is so massive and so far reaching that I fear simple DMCA notices will not even begin to stop this site.
Ratedesi.com is engaged in epic copyright infringement. I believe they are what is called a “scraper” site.
They are hotlinking to my art work on RedBubble and Artflakes. In addition they are stealing the work of numerous other artists. Their activities are currently being monitored and discussed oin forum on Zazzle, RedBubble and Facebook. On Facebook, “Copyright Infringement Cases” is the group.

Thank you for this information. I’ve already found 10 of my photographs on this site and will look for more and send the DMCA notice. They have even posted product images from RB that have my name on them!

Minor update: I’ve also found a large number of my photos on ratedesi that were taken from my Flickr account.

I’ve already posted in the Flickr forums and told people how to search. I’ve had two people respond who apparently know how to read source code (I posted one link to a photo of mine on ratedesi and the link to the original on Flickr). Both of them said that the site is not hosting the image locally but linking to it on Flickr (but without providing the link back to the original).

Janis journaled about this again today, they are at it again and have many of our images, same type of scraper site we were all sending takedown notices to last night. So many I forget what they are all called! I found some of mine there this time, though hadn’t awhile back. Got a takedown notice typed, ready to send. So is this Amazon now not Go Daddy? That’s all I really need to clarify at this point is who the site’s provider really is and I can send my notice.
