Looking straight down at a hedge hog cactus in bloom. I once was moving my tripod away from a subject and backed into one of these. Not my most pleasant experience in the desert.Taken in the Superstition Wilderness, Apache Junction, Arizona, US

Absolutely stunning Bob, the lilac color is bringing so much life into the grasses, it almost look digitally painted. Love it, love it, love it.
Thank you Angelika for the comments and the favorite. I took about 8 or 10 images before getting one I liked. Couldn’t do that instant review in the days of using film.Bob
