Daniel Angeles
..........yep, cant stop looking at it. Just too good. I can’t thank you enough.
Barbara Glatzeder replied
thanks Daniel, happy you like it :-))
Sarah ORourke
Very cool!!! Funny enough he looks more “alive” in black & white!!!
Barbara Glatzeder replied
you think so? that’s what a couple of beers and a random fineliner do on a Friday night :-)) I did draw on ‘proper paper’ though xx
Sarah ORourke
Hehe i think it’s because in B & W you lose the tones around the eyes & mouth that give that real “seedy” look…
Proper Paper… heehee, very good… mind you i think you’d still be creating wonderful art drawing on serviettes!
Xxx
Barbara Glatzeder replied
... now that’s an idea :-))) ... I can’t decide between these two – I love my texture layers and the colouring so much … but then I really like patterns and empty spaces too – hahaha, I just had to do both. xx
Sarah ORourke
Oh & both work well… just the textured one he does look totally wasted!!! Which is probably the point!
Xxx
P.S Actually i used to love drawing on serviettes & was forever getting in trouble for doing so when we went out to fancy restaurants!
Barbara Glatzeder replied
erm, yes … i think so
Fineliners soak and rip the serviettes too much and I’m out of ballpoint pens, lol xx
Karin Taylor
well, it’s way past midnight here now, so that’s a very appropriate title … i really love these cool portraits….. such a freaky hairstyle, reminds me of my own :)
Barbara Glatzeder replied
Hahahaha thanks Karin :-))) yeah, it’s a great reference shot, too!
MoonSpiral
I didn’t even realize you did a drawing too. Fantastic, and I of course love how you are going overboard with the spirals!!!!
Barbara Glatzeder replied
Thanks so much, Tammy :-)) yeah, although I was too lazy to draw it at first, I couldn’t resist. There is just so far digital will take me, and the rest I have to ink lol
