Let the sun shine in
Watercolour on 180g pitted drawing paper. The original is deep red, orange and yellow – the scan darkened the red, but I like it like this. The model is from my scrapbook, probably a make-up or perfume advert.
It’s a bit of a counterpart to Slipping through my fingers ...

Your watercolors are always off the hook crazy colorful!!!! I don’t see how you get such vivd color with watercolors! Beautiful work!

lol, don’t use them like you’re supposed to, i.e. add as little water as you can ;-)) handles like guache, then. Thanks, happy you like them xxx

thanks so much, Karin :-)) I’m happy about the glow, too … I never know how these are going to turn out, they’re soooo dependent on the colours. The yellow was strong enough in the end, thank goodness, that was a worry. xxx
