The earth in perfect balance
The two to one will be
their beings be the mountains
and their souls be the sea
The one dressed in black
says ‘good-bye’
The one fair in white – ‘hello’
Each quite dearly bittersweet –
but no regrets need show
life is but a circle
of balance and harmony
whether good or bad,
whether happy or sad,
we know not what comes to be.
only know this – ‘it’s precious’
and it’s here for just a while
so waste it, live it, take or give it
... we continue to walk the miles….
