You would think Easter Island in the Pacific Ocean… yes?

Nope this is in Hunt Texas, west of Austin. this Statue is at least 20 feet tall and a smart likeness to the original. Did a time exposed shot at night and loved the shadows and stars.

No one is really sure what happened to the Rapa Nui or even sure how they were able to construct or erect thousands of these statues all around the island. One thing is certain, one of two hypothesis, they were fervently religious or two, they were driven by a dictatorship
