The Pickle

There was a pickle in my bathtub,
A pickle in my shoe,
A pickle on the ironing board,
A pickle in the pool.

There was a pickle at the party,
Dancing on the floor,
A pickle in my bedroom,
Scratching at the door.

A pickle on the windscreen,
A pickle in the car,
A pickle on the kitchen sink,
A pickle in a jar.

A pickle in the microwave
A pickle on my plate,
A pickle in the letterbox,
A pickle on my cake.

I didn’t like this pickle
Cos it followed me around
It was slimy, green & ugly,
And its been rolling on the ground.

But then I picked it up and thought that
Maybe I should chew it
So I took a bite and found
It was disgusting so I threw it.

So remember to be careful,
Beware of what you eat,
Cos when you pick things off the ground
They taste like hair & feet.
