Date: November 2002

Medium: Film Photography
(Pentax K1000, 400ISO Ilford B+W)

Model: Suzi

My original idea for this photograph was to use lines to distort and exaggerate the human form. I used body paint and ambient light from two 500W lamps to achieve this effect. I used a Hoya 4+ filter in the darkroom to boost the contrast.

black, body, girl, nude, stripes, torso, white, woman, female, zebra, high contrast, fashion, curves, feminine

Beautifully produced, great idea. I love the Pentax K1000, I have one myself. Still in use now and again…nothing but manual!
