Fragile Droplets & Driplets

This short poem was inspired by the work of Jan Stead. SEE JAN’S WORK HERE
Written initially as a fun response to her work, Jan then encouraged me to submit it to accompany her image. Jan and I have shared a special friendship since we both joined Red Bubble and have encouraged each other to explore our written works … with confidence you can climb mountains … so here it is folks … enjoy!!

Fragile Droplets & Driplets belongs to the following groups:

"Exceptional Ekphrasis"

Droplets, driplets,
little beads of dew,
gently, delicately they trickle,
sometimes joining and forming a queue!
Then nudging
ever so gently, delicately they tumble and fall
moistening the twigs and the soil overall.

Love it Bev – my favorite relaxing pastime is watching rain drops run down a window. :) Judy

Thanks so much for the response. I think we initially used each other for moral support and to boost our confidence. Its strange when you first reveal your written work, its almost as if you are bearing your soul or stripping naked, you don’t feel confident and I think we both helped each other there.
