Relaxing - Newcastle Baths NSW Australia by

I couldn’t resist this shot of this man quietly enjoying a balmy winter’s day at the rear of the wall of Newcastle Baths, just near the pump house. The sun was shining, he was protected from the wind and he was enjoying his own quiet time. Maybe I envied him that he had time to himself but then I in my own way was doing similar, wandering along the beach taking photos at whim of what took my eye. We are the lucky country whether we admit it or not … we are free to enjoy our hobbies and interests … now that is special?

Taken with the Nikon D700, Nikkor 28-300 mm lens, hand held at a focal length of 300 mm, F11, 1/500 sec, ISO 250.

Great candid Bev. It is so great to just enjoy life.

  • Thank you Gail. I would fall asleep if I tried to read in the sun … there was another fellow behind this one who was actually asleep … pleased you liked it?
