While wandering around waiting for sundown at the old silver town of Silverton in outback NSW, I decided to explore this beautiful old stone cottage. The dust storm had subsided and left this smoky view from the windows and doors ,,, I found it quite mesmerising and found my mind wandering back to the days when it may have been occupied by one of the silver miners in the district … imagine waking up to this scene each day. Somehow that red dirt and grey green foliage compliments the rustic look of these old ruins.
