Walk This Way to Anvil Rock NSW Australiaby Bev Woodman
Part of the short walk to Anvil Rock through typical Australian bush, mainly of gum trees, grass trees, bottle brush and sprinkled with flannel flowers and native shrub, so typical of that found in the Blue Mountains National Park. It had been raining so the colours in the sandstone rocks and the bark of the gums were so much richer and brighter than earlier in the day. Its always worth the short trip from Blackheath in the Blue Mountains of NSW Australia to explore this area and to sit in awe at the ever changing views from the lookout on Anvil Rock.
I have to like this, my husbands game name is the ‘Anvil’ but regardless it captures the Australian bush. Something about gum trees, isn’t there? Nice shot.
Thank you Liza and welcome to my gallery … believe or not, someone has placed a huge anvil on top of the rock there … I didn’t take a photo as I thought it was tacky♥
There’s nothing like the Aussie bush is there Bev and your photo captures it very well – I feel like I’m walking along the track. Well done Bev. Cheers, Graham.
Thank you Graham especially for the smile you brought to my face in reading this one … I just love bush tracks and can never resist finding out what’s around the bend♥
I love those Blue Mountains tracks. I’ve seen lots of them lately. Just spent two days in the mountains. A bit cool & windy on thursday night but otherwise perfect.
I think your tracks would be a bit wilder than mine but thanks for sharing your treks with me♥
