This is a magical image of Nobby’s Lighthouse looking along the sand dunes of Macquarie Pier and out to sea. I never get tired of attempting different angles and lighting to capture what is an iconic land mark for those who call Newcastle and Lake Macquarie home. It marks the entrance to the Port of Newcastle and has been providing a shipping marker since early settlement. Today the city was shrowded in sea fog and this misty look provided an erie look to the landscape. The skies cast their own magic with their soft lambs wool appearance. I hope you like this one♥
