Found around the back of Heaps Cottage just across the gully near Clarke Street in Hill End NSW Australia. This rustic old residence was all locked and secured. It gives a hint of the basic comforts that the gold miners of that era may have been lucky to have lived in during the gold rush era. Today it stands as another colourful monument to our history and the lives lived, the fortunes made … and often of the hardship and fortunes lost!
