Well it was a perfect day back in May 2010 when a few of us Red Bubblers met up in the Blue Mountains for a ramble around Mt Wilson with a few of us staying over to enjoy the sunset that night. We chose the Blackheath Lookout and weren’t disappointed with the display that Mother Nature put on for us. Local bushfires helped add a deeper glow to the sunset. I used the tree to mask the bright full glow of the sun in this one and being a great lover of sunset silhouettes, was pleased with the result.

Oh and by the way, when next you are planning a bubbler excursion to Blackheath I would love to know so I could join you!!! What a fantastic place to meet!!! I wonder if any of you had time to talk with the total distraction of photo ops left, right, centre, high and low around you!!
