Coachwood Glen - Megalong Valley NSW Australia by

_My magic place
Where I love to treck
Down the wet and winding track
Through the many ferns and vines
to this spot … my magic place!

In this gully where the waters flow
I love to hide away
Drinking in the green, wet and mossy view
of the boulders, fallen trees and ferns
All in this spot … my magic place!

I tread carefully so as not to leave my mark
Amongst the thick undergrowth that survives down here … deep in this dark
But beautiful place … my magic place! _

Taken on the 12th May 2010 during one of my many visits to the Blue Mountains Region of NSW Australia … I always take a visit to this easy to access area on the road from Blackheath to the Megalong Valley. As you pass through the avenue of ferns along the way, look out for the almost hidden archway to Coachwood Glen … take a few minutes and venture down this wet and winding path to a place of true magic … my magic place!

It’s really not much of a cave… but a magic spot… I used to go there and sit (maybe drawing, maybe meditating) for hours…. sigh…. that’s when I lived up there….. : ))

  • Thanks Jenny … I will definitely check it out next time (soon I hope)♥

So magical indeed Bev – almost a mystical quality about it as well. I feel as if I’ve been there – actually I have just visited a place equally lovely and magical. Your words are every bit as lovely and perfect as this image my dear friend! xox

  • Thank you Lianne. As always you give me confidence that I’m on the right track. You would love it down in this magic place … I always find the time on each trip to go there♥ Thank you for the favourite too♥♥
