Body Boarding - Nobbys Beach NSW by Bev Woodman

I’ve managed to ID my body boarders in my previous image of Nobby’s Beach … thanks to Darcy Walker. This one is of Jake Jones. I was trying out my new camera with my new zoom lens this day and just kept snapping shots. To be able to find these boys by sheer chance is wonderful. Today I had the liberty of calling in personally to meet with Jake and to give him copies of the photos I took that day … I couldn’t believe that the simple art of giving could mean so much to both the receiver and the giver … thank you boys and enjoy your bodyboards♥

Thanks Noelene … I took these images back in August and posted the first one back then. tonight I have been contacted by the boys and they are so excited and keen to get copies of the shots. I’ll arrange this real soon♥

Thanks Terry … its a Nikon D90 and I love it. I also have a D80 but have my 120-400 mm lens permanently on this one now … it saves me swapping lenses and also stops dust inside when swapping outside in all elements. I find they are both very easy to use♥

Thank you Lianne … I had three very excited boys contact me by bubble mail to say that they were the boys in these photos. I posted this because I believe this was one of the boys. I’ve printed some copies for them … what are the chances? ♥
