Critique please!

This is the same image previously posted but this time I played with the plastic wrap in Filters to get this effect. It gives the wetsuit and surfboard some dimensional tones.

I’ve been looking at it for sometime … unsure … so there’s no better way to find out than to put it out there and have you, my friends, decide!

I love the challenge of capturing what I see, admire and love. To share it with you is an added bonus. Photography to me is recording history. Please explore my galleries and enjoy♥

The effect is interesting Bev. Well done.

  • Thanks Julie – it is unusual. I was just playing and came up with this and thought it was a ‘little different’!♥

original for me pal!..although the plastic guy looks kind o ghostly and wi me bein a ghost he could be ma pal

  • Mmmmm! I must check my other images to see if the ghost of Joak is riding the wave with him. Thanks Joak for the feedback. I’m leaning towards the original too!♥

I would say I’m rather for the original one Bev, just as it is

  • Hi Corinne and thank you for the feedback. I think all along I was happy with the first one but wanted to share this result with everyone to see what they thought of it!♥ I will probably delete it later.

No plastic, Bev, I like the original best :)

  • Thanks Sue for the feedback – I tend to agree with the majority. It was fun playing with it to see what effects I could produce but somehow I often think natural is best!

I must agree plastic doesn’t work for me.

  • Hi Tony and thank you for taking the time to comment – I do agree with you all on this one too but thought I’d throw it out there for discussion!

  • Thank you Lyn – I posted the original a little while ago and had fun playing with some filter settings to get this result!♥
