The Forster/Tuncurry Bridge in NSW Australia has recently celebrated it 50 years. Its a single lane bridge that serves the population of the twin holiday towns on either side. During holiday time the traffic is brought to a stand still as holiday makers and locals try to cross this popular spot. In early days the area was serviced by a punt system. Today though the area desperately needs a second bridge as the population expands with its expanding retirees and tourists. There is a secondary route south via Elizabeth Beach and Bungwal but there is no other route north. This image was taken with the Nikon D80, 55-200 mm lens – the image is “as is” straight from the camera.
