Cascade - Upper Manning River NSW by

This image was taken from the Westwood Bridge on the Upper Manning River between Bundook and Cundle Flat in NSW Australia. This is a beautiful spot on the river with tree lined banks and still waters. The river bank was lined with black angus calves feeding on the lush grass growing along the banks of the river.

    A beautiful hidden treasure !!!

  • Thanks Helua – yes it was rather hidden. I took this from a little bridge across the river there and noticed this little cascade created by a fallen tree hidden under the trees on the bank.

    Great movement in this Bev.

  • Thanks Paul – the river was getting pretty quiet by now as we were in the upper reaches of the Manning but this old fallen tree created something special.

I can hear the water bubbling away :):)

  • Thank you Jacquei for the comment and the favourite. This image is just near the spot where James Carter/Smith from Manchester had his dairy property. Back in his day he had to cross the river by horse.

What a totally lovely spot Bev – I wish I had time to really browse and comment on all I’ve loved of the fabulous images I’ve missed but just had to stop for a waterfall! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a joyous New Year too my friend!

  • Thank you Lianne for your lovely comment. I always look forward to your responses as they tell me a lot about my work and its so nice to know that you care enough to respond. We had a wonderful but quiet Christmas and will be looking forward to the new year.
