Lean To by Bev Woodman
Clear

This quaint, but sloping barn was captured near Mt George on the Manning River in NSW Australia. We had stopped at the local pub/general store for morning tea and were enjoying a pie down by the railway line, when we noticed this beauty begging to be captured. I think the local farmers all thought the three of us had gone mad as we all took our various poses to photograph this old barn.

I love the challenge of capturing what I see, admire and love. To share it with you is an added bonus. Photography to me is recording history. Please explore my galleries and enjoy♥

A great find ! A very textural capture, with a nice backdrop.

Great capture Bev, looks like it’s getting close to the tipping point.

  • Thanks Jade – it always amazes me how some of these old buildings do survive – maybe they don’t get much wind in the valley.

And what kind of poses are required to frame this one up ? :)

  • You have to be careful James that you don’t lean with the building when trying to capture it.

It never ceases to amaze me the things that are just lying around out there in the fields. This is a wonderful find – why go all the way to Pisa to see the leaning tower when this is on our doorstep?? LOL Well spotted and captured. Peter

  • Thanks Peter for this wonderful comment and you are right. I love to travel overseas but the dollar is way down and so I am very happy exploring my own backyard.
